WELCOME!
Welcome to the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Overlay District, City of San Bernardino Project Page.  This page is intended to inform the public about the planning effort, led by the City’s Economic Development Agency, to create a TOD Overlay District around the various transit station locations that are complementary to mass transit.

The City of San Bernardino and its transit partners, Omnitrans and San Bernardino Associated Governments (SANBAG) have been working to expand transit and transit-oriented development (TOD) opportunities.  Thirteen transit station locations are proposed to support the San Bernardino (sbX) Bus Rapid Transit Project developed by Omintrans; and the proposed Redlands Light Rail Project being planned by the SANBAG.

The City’s approach has been comprehensive and well integrated with the local land use context and transit systems, with numerous studies and plans on expanding local and regional bus, bus rapid transit (BRT), light rail, and Metrolink facilities.  Read More
