"The San Bernardino Symphony makes their home at the California Theatre, which is truly a premiere venue attraction for the region. The Theatre and Symphony Conductor, Maestro Carlo Ponti are our two of our special gems that make us shine!"
Mayor Patrick J. Morris |

The quality of life in San Bernardino blends old traditions with
new concepts and community involvement. San Bernardino is the location of the
nation's original McDonald's Restaurant site, the cars and stars of the award
winning annual Route 66 Rendezvous® classic car event, the Area Youth Sports
Alliance for regional, national and international tournament sports, Sturges
Center Theater and Junior University for youth performing arts and the
International Children's Choir.
The City of San Bernardino has an award-winning police department and highly
rated fire department with an Emergency Operations Center; an active citywide
Parks and Recreation and Community Services Department, plus civic partnerships
with schools, K-12. Quality and affordable child care is a city priority. Our
city has first class health care facilities, a growing regional shopping mall
with popular name-brand stores, a full-service cable television station (Inland
Empire Communication) and the only Public Broadcast Station in the region,
KVCR-TV-24 and Radio 91.9 AM & FM.
